  • Chiropractic can be broken down into two types, evidence based vs philosophy based.

We are an evidence based clinic, meaning our techniques and treatment plans are backed by research.

The goal for every chiropractor is to help the patient ; not everyone fits into the same “cookie cutter” treatment. There is nothing wrong with other types or styles of chiropractic care, as in the end it is all for the benefit of the patient.

  • If you don’t like a hands on adjustments, or the sound/feeling of being “popped”. We have multiple methods with low force. Activator and drop being the most common techniques used.

Here at our clinic we also want to know why you don’t like being “popped” or “cracked”. We want to know if it was a bad experience or just personal preference? Let us know at your next visit with us.

  • Yes, we have a small amount in stock in our clinic.

We also have an online account where you can order them as you please. Ask us about it at your next visit.

  • In the simplest way, we are influencing your musculoskeletal system causing it to relax, therefore releasing the tension in a specific area.

Depending on the technique used, you may hear a popping sound or feel like something moved. We don’t actually move bones or joints. The cavitation or popping sound you hear with an adjustment is gas releasing between the joint. It is a happy bonus, but not the goal of an adjustment.

  • You might hear that something is “out of place” or “out of alignment”. This is an easy term for chiropractors to describe it to the patient.

If you ever hear that term in our clinic, our meaning is “the tension of the muscles decrease the physiological range of motion of that joint.”

If something is acually “out” of place or dislocated, this would be out of our scope of practice and would require a referral.
